I think it’s fair to say that this dental practice focuses on private patients, but there is provision for NHS customers, who are treated by newly qualified dentists. Eimear is wonderful, I have problems with my mouth, she always takes her time and is very gentle, couldn’t ask for a better dentist. My dad who has Alzheimer’s also sees her, and she is excellent with him too. All the receptionists are also outstanding, especially Susan.
I would highly recommend Bromley Park Dental to anyone. Someone who suffers from anxiety was made to feel really welcome and instantly put at ease by Eimear Neilan at the practice. Eimear took the time to chat to me first and took her time. Nothing was a problem and told me to say stop if i was uneasy in anyway. I went to see Pauline Christy today for a dental check up and I was super impressed with her knowledge, professionalism but most importantly the care she put when looking after me. While checking and cleaning my teeth, Pauline regularly checked in on me to see how I was doing and if I was ok and I found that really nice of her. She also recommended different ways to look after my oral hygiene and went a step ahead by explaining thoroughly what my x-rays meant, this shows how much she cares about her patients. Absolutely first class I live over 40 miles away. My appointment was with Pauline hygienist who gave me so much information and advice on my oral care and a letter followed with instructions a couple of days later. I wouldn't change my dentist for one closer to where I live.

My family and I have been going to this surgery for many years now. Recently I had to have a procedure done, and my expectations were met on all fronts: open discussion around options - including costs, frank and open advice, no pressure on decision, recap of step-by-step procedure before hand, and clear care instructions. I do not write many reviews but I felt this one is very well deserved.

What are the general dentistry treatments in Bromley?

Here are some of the more common general dentistry treatments that we offer patients from Beckenham, Bromley, Chislehurst and throughout Kent:

Regular dental check-up

Our most common general dentistry service is for a routine check-up. We recommend that you see your dentist every 6 to 12 months and every 6 months for children. We check the health of your teeth and gums and discuss any concerns that you might have.

Hygienist

Our professional hygienists focus on keeping your teeth and gums clean and healthy. Hygienists aim to prevent the build-up of plaque on teeth which can lead to gum disease and tooth decay. You should visit your hygienist every 6 to 12 months.

Fillings

If your tooth has been damaged by decay or has a cavity, it will need to be fixed using a filling. We offer traditional amalgam fillings or the more popular white fillings which blend in with your natural colour teeth.

Dental crown

If your tooth is broken or if it is weak from decay or damage, a crown can be used to protect the tooth from further damage. A crown is a cap which sits over the top of the tooth.

Dental extractions

If your tooth has become decayed or badly damaged, it may need to be removed to prevent you suffering any pain and to protect the health of your other teeth. Our dentist will firstly give you a local anaesthetic so that the affected area is numb. Your tooth will then be carefully removed. 

X-rays

Dental x-rays are carried out to give us more information about your teeth and gums. We may take x-rays if we have concerns about your oral health. We may also take x-rays before certain planned treatment such as dental implants or orthodontic treatment.
